Screen Ix² – Privacy Policy

Screen Ix² is a Chrome extension for adjusting website appearance (filters, fonts, and UI themes) to enhance accessibility and comfort. Your privacy is important to me. This document explains what information Screen Ix² processes and how your data is handled. Available in google web store.

Data Collection & Usage

Screen Ix² does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on my servers or any third-party servers.

All data and settings used by Screen Ix² are handled in the following ways:

Settings Storage: Your preferences (such as brightness, contrast, filters, font choice, UI theme, and related toggles) are stored using Chrome’s storage.sync feature. This allows Chrome to save your settings and synchronize them across your own devices, if you are signed into Chrome with a Google account.

Local-only Access: The extension does not access, collect, or transmit your browsing history, the content of the web pages you visit, your name, email, or any unique identifiers.

No Analytics / No Tracking: I do not include analytics, advertising, or any tracking scripts in Screen Ix².

Third-Party Data

Chrome Sync: Any data saved using Chrome’s storage.sync is subject to Google’s own privacy policies. I have no access to your sync data; it is solely managed by Chrome for your convenience.

Data Sharing

I do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties.

I do not store any user settings or personal data on my own servers.

Your Control

You may uninstall Screen Ix² at any time to remove all extension settings. You can also clear data stored by the extension via Chrome’s settings.

Changes to This Policy

Should this privacy policy change, a new version will be published in the Chrome Web Store and the change date will be updated at the top of this document.

Download experimental Beta- edition:

Installation(https://github.com/wztr-lx2/screenlx2/).

Unzip the folder.

Go to chrome://extensions/ in your Chrome browser.

Enable Developer Mode (top right).

Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

Screen Ix² is ready to use! Pin it for easy access.
